“Super CE Tailgate” celebration from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  We will have beer, wine and plenty of yummy appetizers.  This will be a great opportunity to socialize with your friends, conference speakers, and have more time to visit our corporate partners at their booths. Come in your favorite team colors!

For those interested in small animal we have two tracks available to choose from.  The morning will have four hours of internal medicine on a variety of topics that will not only emphasize what is new in the genre, but also these topics will highlight specific clinical trials that are ongoing or recently completed at UC Davis. These include such speakers as Dr.Sara Thomasy in our ophthalmology department and Dr. Chen Gilor speaking on canine diabetes.  We then have an afternoon dedicated to feline behavior with exciting guest speakers including Dr. Janine Berger from the San Francisco SPCA and Dr. Tony Buffington, Professor Emeritus UCD. We are also thrilled that our experts and boarded specialists in veterinary dentistry, Dr. Amandeep ChohanDr. Frank Verstraete, and Dr. Boaz Arzi, will be providing lectures as well as a laboratory solely focused on canine dentistry.  Sign up for the lab early- spots will fill quickly! Lab for veterinarians only.

The livestock offerings include both veterinary tracks and producer tracks. The Veterinary CE will focus on adapting to recent regulatory changes for livestock medicine, including antimicrobial stewardship and the implementation of the veterinary feed directive. Our livestock producer tracks have been organized by F.A.R.M. Club presidents, Bryan Welly and Sydney Westbrook, in conjunction with their faculty advisor, Dr. Bret McNabb, to bring some of the best and most talented experts to speak. This year the Livestock Symposium has expanded to include tracks for both beef and dairy producers, and will be scheduled to allow interaction among veterinarians and livestock owners.
