Effective January 1, 2019, California law (SB 1343) requires employers with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment education and training for all employees. Non-supervisory employees must receive at least one hour of education and training and supervisory employees must receive at least two hours. Employees are required to receive this education and training by January 1, 2020. The first hour of the webinar will be for all employees (supervisors and non-supervisors). There will be a 15-minute break followed by the second hour of the webinar for supervisors only, to meet their two hours of training requirement.

For full information about the new requirement, see our article "Sexual Harassment and Abusive Behavior Training Requirements Expand Significantly" in the March - April issue of the California Veterinarian magazine.

We understand the strain this training requirement might put on staffing, so we are offering the webinar on two different dates at different times for your convenience.

All attendees will receive a certificate of completion. Both employers and staff should retain a copy of the certificate for their records.

Registered attendees may participate in the webinar as a group under a single login or individually.
