Course Description

Effective January 1, 2019, California law (SB 1343requires employers with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment education and training for all employees. Non-supervisory employees must receive at least one hour of education and training and supervisory employees must receive at least two hours. A new bill (SB 778) was passed August 30, 2019 extending the date in which employees must receive this education and training to January 1, 2021.  The first hour of the webinar will be for all employees (supervisors and non-supervisors). There will be a 15 minute break followed by the second hour of the webinar for supervisors only so that they receive a full two hours of training.

Registered attendees may participate in the webinar as a group under a single login or individually. See instructions below for group registration.

For full information about the new requirement, see our article “Expanded Sexual Harassment Training Requirements” from the March/April issue of the California Veterinarian magazine. We understand the strain this training requirement might put on staffing, so we are offering the webinar on four different dates at different times for your convenience.

Supervisor participants will receive 2 units of CE credit and non-supervisor participants will receive 1 unit of CE credit.
